Privacy Policy

Last updated: TBD at public launch · To be finalised by counsel before launch.

TODO: This policy is a structural scaffold. Counsel to finalise before public launch, including precise data-retention periods, DPO contact, and grievance officer details required under §10 of the DPDP Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

VIVAHA.AI is operated by a ring-fenced Indian operating subsidiary of InScotia Limited (Scotland, Company No. SC864995). Data processed through the VIVAHA.AI platform is controlled by the Indian operating entity. Cross-border transfers to the parent and to sister platforms are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and the DPDP Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

Two broad categories of personal data:

  • Data you provide: application fields on our forms (name, role, email, phone, venue or business details, consent flags), contact messages, and communications with our team.
  • Data we observe: device and browser metadata, pages visited, approximate location from IP, and basic analytics events. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. Why we process it

To respond to enquiries, onboard partners, coordinate bookings, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and — with your consent — send occasional updates about the platform.

4. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, erasure where legally permitted, and withdrawal of consent. You may nominate a representative and file a grievance through our Data Protection Officer.

5. DPDP compliance summary

We operate as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We maintain a record of processing activities, honour consent withdrawal, and maintain a documented grievance redressal path. The role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) is held internally; contact details will be published here at public launch.

6. Cross-border transfers

Certain engineering and platform-operations functions are performed from the United Kingdom. Transfers are limited to those functions, contractually governed, and subject to UK GDPR / DPDP requirements.

7. Retention

Lead and partner-application data is retained for the duration of the commercial relationship plus six years (tax-audit window). Marketing subscribers can unsubscribe at any time; we honour requests within fourteen calendar days.

8. How to contact us
